Speaker Profile:


Ms. Alakananda Rao,PMP is the Founder Director and Chief Executive of Alvari Systems Private Limited, Kolkata.

Ms. Rao is a certified PMP has worked in the Information Technology profession for over 30 years with some of India’s leading IT firms –TCS , NIIT, NITEL.

She has extensive experience in Project Management in software development projects, and has also designed and delivered training assignments for corporate sector.

Ms. Rao has been the IT Coordinator for the global operations with focus on Asia and the Latin America and Caribbean Region for ActionAid International (2001-2005).

She has contributed to bringing innovative use of IT Service Management based on ITIL methodology to country programmes in Vietnam, Nepal, Bangladesh, Brazil, Guatemala and trained staff and partners in the use of technology.
